Many of the blooms and seed heads used in these paperweights are hand gathered from carefully tended gardens or the surrounding countryside in Wales. Located in the middle of Margam Forest, Hafod are constantly experimenting with new specimens for you to enjoy in the future. Once dried using a range of techniques designed to preserve their natural beauty, our specimens are cast in clear resin and then individually turned and polished to a superb finish. Popular with collectors, these unique paperweights make the perfect gift or promotion.

Clear polyester resin, containing a UV filter to stop fading, is used to embed the botanical specimens without destroying them, as molten glass would, and the globe shape allows the specimen to be seen in its beauty from all angles, creating a crystal clear effect.
