“The object of art is not to reproduce reality, but to create a reality of the same intensity.” Alberto Giacometti

A meeting place of art, artists and audience at our exhibitions is a real joy and lifeline for us all at, particularly at present.
Within our three dedicated exhibiting spaces we aim to cover many art forms and genres offering solo, group, open and themed exhibitions on a regular basis, enabling you to experience a wealth of talented artists and desirable art works.

Representation of both established and up and coming artists is a vital factor in sustaining and encouraging the whole future of fine art. We strongly feel that engaging in artistic experiences is an opportunity that should be open to anyone and everyone, so we welcome all, whether collectors, first time buyers, browsers, and the curious. As artists ourselves we have a wealth of knowledge and are happy to discuss, the art on display, the artists, or art in general in order to help you better engage with the art world as a whole.
Alongside running exhibitions we are happy to gather together artworks from our extensive racks of works.

As our current solo exhibition ‘From Sea to Shore’ with Margaret Shields (magnificent expansive paintings of the north Sea and shipping) draws to a close, we look forward to an interim exhibition of Gallery Artists, followed by an open exhibition ‘A Modern Bestiary’. This should prove to be a fascinating exhibition taking issue with animal / human relationships. it will be supported by a small works exhibition, always popular over the festive period.
For 2021 we venture to the world of ‘Canals and Locks in and around Calderdale’, a group show with Barry de More, Mike Holcroft, Colin Binns and Barry Midgley. The genre of still life painting is growing in popularity, several of our artists work within these parameters mainly David Thomas, Gill Hamilton and more.
Further ahead a solo exhibition with Mike Holcroft’s ‘For the Love of Charcoal’
All our displayed pieces and more are available to view and purchase on our website as well as in store. For more information feel free to connect with us.
