"I often do sketches in situ, as well as working from photos I've taken. The colour is laid down first, using tempura paint sticks, ink and coloured pencils before the line work goes on top. I use ink pens and acrylic paint pens for this part, often working and reworking the lines to create a look similar to that of a woodcut or lino print." Jennifer Guest 2021
