Product description

My main painting interest for many years has been reflections in shop windows, with their planes, surfaces and confusion of layers that continually change. As I mountain walk a lot, in Scotland and abroad, I have a large collection of sketch books of landscapes, people and places. The colours, shapes, atmosphere and light call for me to photograph, draw and paint. I love plants and my garden so have for many years been fascinated by seed pods and their extraordinary variety and exquisite delicate shapes.

I originally came from North Wales and chose to study Fine Art (painting) at Camberwell School of Art, London, in the late seventies, gaining a B.A. Hons (2.1).
