This series of work is inspired by the works of Sylvia Plat. Using found images of women from vintage magazines, where their image was publicised enforcing stereotypical views of women during that period, I have broke apart the images with quotes from Plath's "Ariel" poetry book which expands on feminist ideals.

By subverting the original narrative, these pieces of work are creating a new outlook on the 'old glamour' that is romanticised in our era
