Shelley aims to make connections between her experiences, organic forms, found objects and personal events.  Her work is inhabited with organic shapes, plant life and anatomy.  In our daily lives we ignore the treasures and magical organisms that are abundant in the natural world.  It is as if we forbid ourselves to look. The Girolan intaglio prints contain a myriad of forms.  Exploring and experiencing wild and natural places is central to Shelley’s art practice.
