Product description
The saggar fired porcelain vessel is thrown and burnished before bisque firing, the oval shaped vessel is thrown in stoneware and altered before burnishing and bisque firing. The burnished bisque fired pots are then wrapped in foil along with various organic materials such as banana peel, avocado skins and salt, wire wool, pine needles and copper wire. The piece is then fired in a barrel or raku kiln, and the reduction atmosphere causes unique markings to be infused into the surface of the clay.
