Product description
I mould, sew, cast and assemble my work from an eclectic mix of tactile materials. My degree was in ceramics and whilst I still love to use clay, I am excited by the contrast of textures in found material and the story they tell.
As a tree grows, its branches stretch and search for the light, twisting and turning at each obstruction. The more twisted and gnarled, the more interesting. Much like humans. I now live in Herefordshire; new directions for my work appeared after a period of living in Kenya which sparked a passion for working with natural found materials.
