Annie Fforde is a contemporary practicing artist, with over 25 years of printmaking experience  creating work for  exhibitions and related shows. Annie runs regular printmaking workshops teaching  techniques which include ; monotype, woodcut,  linocut, drypoint, on metal, collegraph and carborundum. She likes to encourage a more experimental and flexible approach to printmaking.

Annie's works are inspired by poetry, music, landscape and a response to objects and works in museums or collections.

“I have an abstract approach to  art often combining several printmaking processes. I create the image using line, colour and texture and layering colour. My approach is an emotional response and imaginery.  I sometimes use heightened colour in the prints depending on the mood of the subject matter”
