Frog Feast is a group of experimental drawings (8 pieces) inspired by novelist Mo Yan’s Magic Realism novel Frog to represent the transforming female identity in great social changes. Each piece is the natural production of the ‘Stream of Consciousness’ flowing in my mind when I read the novel. The tangled lines and structures capture my transient emotions and reactions triggered by the novel, connecting me and the female characters in the novel metaphorically.
