Mandala - pinhole photography

Mandala' is actually articulated multiple images, of bones positive and negative, and relates to manipulation of information which is then presented to us (the public) in an acceptable form.

I have lived intermittently in the Calder Valley since the 90s. The ‘smaller’ landscape - draws me in and fills me with wonder, sometimes horror and often surprise and amusement … small transient elements, often unnoticed / discarded as irrelevant and of no commercial value.

I briefly studied at Sunderland College (Fine Art – Sculpture), Halifax College (C&G Photography), Bradford and Skipton , but, always struggling with written elements, was unable to complete. More recently I have been exploring colour: painting at Northlight, Hebden Bridge.

In pre-digital times I explored photography, including old photographic processes both in and out of the darkroom.
