Prints from originals in Mike Holcroft's solo exhibition 'The Road' series, looking at the terrain around  Todmorden's roads and moorland. Charcoal is used to capture the play of light and dark in highly detailed, finely tuned, observational drawings. The observer forms the 4th wall, positioned directly ‘on the road’, through serpentine meanderings, and atmospheric rural and sometimes urban landscapes.
