Symbal

Product description

Acrylic , watercolour and ink on mineral stone sheet 2024

'Symbal' echoes the words of author Arthur C. Clarke: "How inappropriate to call this planet Earth, when it is clearly Ocean". The work encourages a shift of attention from land to the planet's vast interconnected and unifying body of water, whose ecosystem lies below the surface invisible to most, yet sustains all life on Earth.

Milena Makani features internationally in various private collections across the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Bulgaria, Egypt, the United States and Canada.
