Product description
I made a series of paintings for ‘Seeds of Change’, each in search of an elusive
thing, an instance of growth. The images I came up with have different moods
but all aim to capture a glimpse of a moment when a shift takes place. A tiny
seed can remain dormant, carrying the potential of a new form of life before
bursting forth. The ideas provoked by the title contain physical, emotional and
spiritual possibilities. Something seemingly small begins to grow and a
transformation takes place. I wanted to convey a feeling of the mysterious at
work, while people watched and waited. Suddenly everything turns, a spark
occurs and maybe an otherworldly presence makes itself felt.
