My paintings explore the changing nature of the Pennine landscape. The constant change of light, weather and seasons is reflected in my work. I am also drawn to those spaces where human settlement has shaped the land and weaver's cottages, farms and mills often appear in my work.

I am a landscape artist based in West Yorkshire. My local landscape of moors and mill villages often features in my work. After graduating from Leeds Met University with a degree in Fine Art I left the art world behind for a career in book selling. I have returned to painting in the last few years and paint contemporary landscapes, occasionally en plein air, mostly in oils.
