I've taken inspiration from the idea of the Garden of Eden coupled with the illicit gaining of knowledge. The latter is reflected in the mathematical complexity and geometry of the designs
which inherently break the perfect symmetry of the blank sphere, which itself hints at innocence

I am a textile artist specialising in the Japanese art of temari - embroidered thread balls. I have trained with the Japanese Temari Association and hold their Level 3 (Shihan) certificate, making me one of the most experienced temari stitchers in the UK.
