Using collage, acrylic and print to build up an image of the constantly changing interface between land and water

Recent works focus on my fascination with the land under our feet, and those places where land and water meet, where silt and stones get moved and deposited, creating constantly changing relationships. I use the processes of flowing pigment around pieces of collage to create images that reflect the constantly changing line between water and land, combining this with print. The land we live on may appear unchanging, but change is underway all the time, often imperceptible, sometimes with violence. 
Accepting uncertainty and unpredictable change, such as occurs where land and water meet, seems to challenge our society.
