Product description

Cyanotypes are made by creating a photosensitive fluid from two chemicals. This can then be brushed onto a surface and can be used to make photographs. These particular chemical react to the uv in sunlight. Botanical items can be place on the surface and the u protected part of the photo reacts but those parts in shadow won't. The final stage is a rinse under a tap to halt the process and develop the image which turns this fabulous cobalt blue.

The pendant is sealed using a deep layer of resin to protect the design. The resin creates a lens effect over the design magnifying the detail and giving an attractive shine.

The silver plated pendant base is 25 mm in diameter.

A 18" sterling silver chain is included.

Packaged in a stunning dragonfly stamped, black gift box.
