Product description

I am interested in Nature’s growth processes which often build-up layer by layer to create strong, graceful structures from soft materials. My original designs use freehand drawing, mathematical curves and random elements to produce pieces that could not be made by traditional techniques.



I prepare and colour the clay by hand then manage the process as my work ‘grows’ slowly in one of my home-built 3D printers. Each piece is hand-finished, dried and fired to 1250C to produce a light, strong, waterproof ceramic.
