Selected Works

When working with clay, I work mainly using slabs. I use dressmaking techniques and other processes and skills handed down from my personal heritage such as patterns to create my pots. These are used quite freely, allowing each piece to become individual, letting the moment of making to influence the outcome. Preoccupations with issues around domesticity, personal narrative, the everyday and the physicality of making embed my practice. I use my personal history to provide me inspiration for artefacts and objects for the home.
