I am a designer-maker producing ranges of porcelain jugs, cups and cake stands inspired by old paper ephemera, vintage textiles and afternoon tea. I hand-paint every piece and each is essentially a canvas for decoration, which demonstrates my passion for drawing and old treasured ephemera. This ensures every piece is quirky, unique and evokes a sense of nostalgia.

My collection uses elements from a different era alongside my own drawings, text and collage. I focus on pattern and detail using mixed media to collage and juxtapose the found and made. The pieces I create are unique, one-offs that explore a variety of nostalgic themes that I am always adding to. Currently my themes are; the notions of afternoon tea, ‘Oh I do like to be beside the seaside’, gardening and flowers, and traditional blue and white pottery.
